a. Because city halls currently are not offering notarial/document authentication services, applicants to EUF degree programs may include in their application simple copies of the required documents (§ 16.3, Sentence 1, Number 3 of the registration regulations, together with § 108 1 of the Corona Act of May 8, 2020). The university reserves the right to randomly request originals or officially authenticated (notarized) copies of the certificates and documents that were submitted with the application for admission to EUF, even after the student has already enrolled. Forgery will result in the student’s immediate withdrawal from studies. Foreign documents must still be submitted as translated versions in German or English, and must be officially authenticated/notarized.
3. Residency permits
a. EUF will not check these in Fall Semester 2020.
4. Proof of health insurance
b. In the Fall Semester 2020, foreign students enrolled in the programme are not required to submit proof of health insurance, if they complete the online semester from their home countries. In this case, please enclose proof of your exemption from compulsory health insurance or a self-declaration that you will NOT enter the Federal Republic of Germany during the entire semester.
